To add Thumb images to your post, while you create/edit your blog post, just add the image to your post using the wordpress built-in option "Add an Image". Upload the image and insert into your post. The theme will automatically pull the thumb from first image of the post and will resize it automatically. There is no need to set the custom field.

To Change the Logo, just replace the logo.gif in images folder with your own logo.
